Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him."

post-easter

Apparently, if you're cooking muffins and using paper liners, you still have to grease them. It's been awhile since I've used them, I guess, because this was a lesson I needed to learn again this morning!

Also, vicks vapor rub is my newest friend. If I had woken up this morning with no more nose trouble and a clear throat it might be my new best friend, but as I'm feeling at least 5x better, I think it deserves some recognition. Yay to my boy for running out to get some last night!

We had a really nice Easter (albeit cold and wet) and you can read about it some more here. I feel a little stunned that it's already the end of March, and now I've got to scramble to get together my thoughts before Corey's birthday (April 7th). I think that will be a good distraction from the fact that my little guy will be 11 months in April... yes, I should be able to gloss over that quite nicely in light of the birthday. :-/

I'm on "spring break" this week and already have plans to meet with a few friends throughout, so it should be a fun fun on the run week for us. Let's hope my cold goes away! In the meantime, I've got another half hour before my baby wakes up and I think it's about time to get out of pajamas... so here's a picture from yesterday evening (with ME in it, just for you, Karen!) and I hope everyone has a great Monday!

(If I look sick, I am. And if I look like I'm getting a belly, I am.)
