Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him."

tidbits

(there's a Benjamin update over here. is that helpful to say, or do people generally check there first? give me some feedback :-) )

I only have three things to share this morning. Firstly, I've been feeling better this week (hooray!) and that is encouraging, but I also had a really horrible bout of sickness yesterday mid-diaper change. So I feel kinda touch-and-go still. I'm thinking, this one has got to be a girl, because already she's making my days full of drama!

Secondly, I stumbled across this website yesterday (not while searching for baby names, don't worry. we're not even close to there yet.) and it had me cracking up -- out loud even! So I thought I'd share :-) There are a few pages to look through, but if you're bored and want a distraction then pick one and enjoy. (I should add a disclaimer that I am by no means making a judgment against unusual baby names by sharing this link. We could have easily named our little one Behnjemyn, and the doctors got it wrong at the hospital. OK, not really, but still. If you're reading this and you have a child whose name is on this list... well you'll probably be laughing at the commentary too. So never mind.)

And lastly, our tulips have popped up out back, an Easter basket is waiting for Benjamin in the pantry, and I found ridiculous rabbit ears while cleaning out my hope chest. So happy holy week, and here's to hoping that you're ready for Easter too!

definitely helpful for you to say it. i only read this blog through my blog reader, and since the other ones are private i can't read them that way, so i would never remember to check if you didn't mention it here. that's my 2 cents!

Hi Bethany! It's Tori Gustaveson. Found your blog via facebook...you know the usual I'm-bored-at-work routine! It's so nice to see how your adorable little boy is growing and what wonderful news another is on the way! I would love to see your other two blogs if you can add me to the list.

Also, I am in Portland so if you ever need an extra hand or babysitter let me know! It would be great to catch up. And congrats on the Marathon! That is AMAZING. You are my hero!

Take care!

Tori
